RESEARCH EXAMPLES 3:
A major interest in the material we collected was the DVD we were given. I have scanned in the DVD to show how they have layed out the text and image for the packaging and the actual disc. unfortnately myself and tim didn't watch the Dvd so we dont know what exact content is on it. Anyhow as a form of Direct Mail this format may be effective one because its up to date and also easily accessible. Additionally the format is more active and action based and will appeal to people interested i n the army. By using this method of communicating to the viewer its more direct an d importantly straight to the point. In due time i intend to watch the Dvd and gain more ideas from it. The overall presentation of the front packaging uses the box idea once more to communicate a idea of togetherness etc .. on my next post i will present further examples that have prompted more ideas.
